Ben Platt is aca-married.
The Pitch Perfect alum and his longtime love Noah Galvin tied the knot over the weekend in New York City, where they hosted a string of festivities for their guests across lower Manhattan and Brooklyn.
"Our greatest hope was to give everyone a joyful, low-stress weekend full of warmth and a window into our relationship and the life that we are building,” Ben told Vogue in an interview published Sept. 4. “And we wanted the dancing to go off. We feel that all missions were accomplished!”
And the couple–who confirmed their romance in 2020 before announcing their engagement two years later—also got their ensembles pitch perfect for the big day.
In photos shared to Vogue's Instagram Sept. 4, Ben and Noah, both 30, coordinated all-white Thom Browne suits for their Shabbat welcome dinner at the Angel Orensanz Foundation in Manhattan, while the two wore custom bridal-inspired lace collared shirts by Arel Studio and chic white trousers standing at the altar.
And while Noah "couldn't have asked for anything more" out of his nuptials, he admitted that he's even more excited about what comes after.
“We are still floating," he told Vogue. "And mostly we’re happy we get to keep hanging out forever.”
Ben and Noah went from longtime friends to lovers in January 2020, three years after Noah succeeded the Theater Camp actor as the titular character in the Broadway play Dear Evan Hansen.
"We'd been friends for like five years and right before the pandemic we finally decided to, like, really give it a real shot," Ben explained on a June 2021 episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show. "We'd kind of skated around it for a long time. And then it was like zero to 60."
It didn't take long for the pair to know the relationship was worth sharing with the world. After all, Noah confirmed that the two were dating in the early stages of their romance—with Ben's blessing, of course.
"I asked him this morning, I was like, 'Are we allowed to talk about this?'" Noah confessed during a May 2020 episode of the Little Known Facts podcast. "And he's like, 'Don't go into our nitty gritty, but yeah, people can know.' It's still relatively new."
