Halsey was hospitalized this week after suffering from a seizure.
The "Without Me" singer updated fans after they grew concerned over an Instagram video of Halsey and fiancé Avan Jogia in the hospital on Wednesday. Halsey, 29, poked fun at their predicament in the caption: "Happy Late Bi Visibility Day. This year I'm celebrating by dying with a man by my side (for legal reasons that's a joke)."
They wrote on X, formerly Twitter, early Thursday in reply to a fan's question about their health: "I'm home from the hospital now after a few days, so a win is a win!" In a later tweet, they added: "I had a seizure! Very scary! Don't recommend it!"
Halsey has been open about their chronic illnesses, including multiple health diagnoses. In a May update on Instagram, they said: "I feel like an old lady. I told myself I'm giving myself two more years to be sick. At 30, I'm having a rebirth and I'm not gonna be sick and I'm gonna look super hot and have so much energy and just get to re-do my twenties in my thirties."
Halsey turns 30 on Sunday.

Halsey has lupus and lymphoproliferative disorder: Here's what that means
In June, the singer revealed that they were diagnosed with lupus SLE and a rare T-cell lymphoproliferative disorder back in 2022.
Systemic lupus erythematosus, simply referred to as lupus, is a chronic autoimmune disease that occurs when the body's immune system attacks its own healthy tissues, according to the National Institutes of Health. This attack causes inflammation and can affect the skin, joints, heart, lungs, kidneys, blood cells and brain.
T-cell lymphoproliferative disorders are a rare group of lymphoid tumors that can cause skin lesions, masses in other organs, leukemia or other conditions, according to the National Library of Medicine.

Halsey said both "are currently being managed or in remission; and both of which I will likely have for the duration of my life."
They continued: "After a rocky start, I slowly got everything under control with the help of amazing doctors. After 2 years, I’m feeling better and I’m more grateful than ever to have music to turn to."
The "Without Me" singer has been previously diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, Sjogren's syndrome, mast cell activation syndrome (MCAS), and postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS).
