'Only Murders' post removed from Selena Gomez's Instagram amid strikes: Reports

A social media post about "Only Murders in the Building" has reportedly been removed from Selena Gomez's Instagram amid ongoing Hollywood strikes.
Gomez, 31, plays the enigmatic Mabel Mora on the Hulu comedy, which debuted its third season Aug. 8. Mabel, alongside her neighbors Charles-Haden Savage (Steve Martin) and Oliver Putnam (Martin Short) solve murders in their New York City apartment building.
Variety and the Los Angeles Times report the now-deleted post was made Tuesday and seemed to be from the set of the series. Gomez reportedly captioned the post "Missing and wanting @onlymurdershulu," tagging the Instagram account for the series. Both outlets say the post garnered more than 1 million likes in 15 hours. Gomez has more than 428 million followers on the social media site.

Actors have been unable to film movies or television programs since the Screen Actors Guild (SAG-AFTRA) began picketing in mid-July. They also aren't allowed to audition for future projects or promote others that were already completed under the expired contract, at conventions, premieres or on social media. The actors want more money, regulated use of artificial intelligence, and for their compensation to be based on how well their shows and movies perform on streaming services.
Before the actors strike, Gomez promoted the series July 11 in an Instagram video with the season's new addition Meryl Streep, and in a photo on June 28 with Martin and Short.
Gomez (or her social media rep) returned to Instagram Wednesday night posting a mirror selfie of Gomez in a white tank top and black shorts taken in front of a vanity. The Instagram story had no caption.
