It's a birth story for the ages.
Country rock singer Brantley Gilbert shared all the details about "the craziest night of my life" in an Instagram video on Saturday. He revealed that his wife, Amber Cochran Gilbert, went into labor while he was mid-show at Cadence Bank Arena in Tupelo, Mississippi, during his "Off the Rails Tour."
The video starts with Gilbert rocking out onstage when shortly after, "he gets pulled away for an emergency backstage," reads the text onscreen. It then cuts to Gilbert on the phone with his mom, giving her the great news: "You got a new grandbaby."
The couple named their new bundle of joy Abram Howell Gilbert, born on Oct. 11.
As his mom is heard celebrating over the phone, the video cuts to black-and-white clips of their newborn child, a son. Gilbert's mom then asked him how his wife is doing, to which he answered: "She's a freaking savage." His mother added, "I know she is. She's amazing. She's absolutely amazing."

Still, the show must go on. In the video, Gilbert is seen hanging up on his mom because he had to "go finish the show." Back onstage, the country singer told his fans: "We got a baby."
As the concertgoers erupted in congratulations, Gilbert's bandmates also hugged him and celebrated the news.
In sharing the video of his child's birth story, Gilbert wrote: "Watching such an amazing woman do such an amazing thing is something I’ll never forget. Thank you to our road family for rallying around us, Brittany Thornton for helping us bring this little dude into the world, Tupelo, Mississippi, for showing us mad love and support, and most of all… Amber Gilbert, for letting me love you and showing me EXACTLY how incredibly strong a woman can be. I love you."
The Gilberts have been married since 2015 and are parents to son Barrett, 6, and daughter Braylen, 5.
"We will never forget the way you got here," the couple wrote in another joint Instagram post, "and we can't wait to see what you do here."
